Filippo Cortesi has gained extensive experience in the banking industry, mainly in investment banking outside Italy. In 2006 he was working for Dresdner Bank, where he covered various roles and responsibilities on derivatives and alternative assets, until to the merger with Commerzbank, where at last he was Head of Alternative Assets. During 2013 he was among the founding members of Wave Securities LLP, a London-based company regulated by the FCA. In 2016 he proposed and then carried out the takeover of GBM Banca with an innovative and ambitious business plan aimed at creating a new banking platform for the needs of Italian SME-companies and households. After a complete restructuring and rebuilding of the infrastrucure, at the end of 2020 he launches Aigis Banca.
